SCOTTISH CONNECTIONS IN MELBOURNE’S CBD WALKING TOUR

The rise of Marvellous Melbourne – the great Victorian city that we love, today blessed with its fine streets, monuments and buildings owes much to its’ early settler connections with Scotland.

Following on from the very popular CBD Scottish Walks presented in 2021 and 2022 and 2023, Kenneth Park will present another Scottish themed walk during Melbourne Tartan Festival. This walk continues our perambulations through the CBD with its’ many Scottish connections. Includes a coffee break.

KENNETH PARK

Kenneth W Park is a freelance lecturer, curator, tour leader & presenter. He is also Curator of Collections at Wesley College Melbourne where he manages an extensive art and archival collection. Kenneth’s wide-ranging studies include fine arts, history, museum studies, political science, industrial relations, and international relations.

Kenneth has a passion for the arts, architecture, history, travel, food, wine and good conversation – essentially the good life. An inveterate traveller making several international trips a year and has been to every continent. Kenneth lives by the motto, “Life is a grand tour so make the most of it”. Kenneth has lectured on and led many tours all over the world.

 In 2024, Kenneth Park will lead a grand tour titled 'The Heart of Scotland'. More information HERE
