We've retained all the features you've come to enjoy and reimagined them in an amazing new venue. Guests artists Australian Celtic Women will headline the programme, joined by Highland Dancers, Pipers, traditional ‘Address to a Haggis’ plus much more.

The Big Melbourne Kilt Run on The Tan
SUNDAY 14 march 2027 AT 10.30 AM (CHECK-IN & bag drop 9-10AM)
A community fun run in support of the Heart Foundation.
Run, jog or walk solo, couples, teams or families.
You don’t have to wear a kilt, anything tartan goes! Make it a fun tartan day!
*Please Note: Your entry fee helps cover the cost of the event. All ticket proceeds, fees, and donations for the Big Melbourne Kilt Run are collected and administered solely by the Victorian Scottish Heritage Cultural Foundation.
Any donation to the National Heart Foundation of Australia from this event will be a one-off payment determined and made by the Victorian Scottish Heritage Cultural Foundation after the event. This event is not a fundraising activity for the Heart Foundation, and the Victorian Scottish Heritage Cultural Foundation is not acting as its agent, representative, or authorised fundraiser.
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible in Australia. You will receive a tax receipt from the Victoria Scottish Heritage Cultural Foundation Limited.
Melbourne Tartan Day Parade
sunday 4th july 2027at 2pm - collins street
Over 300+ pipers, drummers and Highland Dancers will parade down Collins Street starting in front of the Old Treasury Building before turning into Regent Place, where a short recital will be held before the parade closes.
Support our wonderful pipe band community and don’t forget to wear some tartan to celebrate Tartan Day in Melbourne!
