The Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Melbourne on Collins will be the setting for a grand and ceremonial welcome on Saturday 17th July 2027 as we welcome our special Guest of Honour, Dr. Joseph Morrow, CVO CBE KStJ KC LLD DL FRSE, The Right Honourable The Lord Lyon King of Arms to what will be the premier event of the Melbourne Tartan Festival.

The evening will include a traditional 'Address to a Haggis', Pipers, Highland Dancers, a 3-course gourmet dinner and accompanying drinks menu.
Our headline entertainers, Australian Celtic Women, combine years of experience in opera, musical theatre, folk, pop and Celtic music, in a musical ensemble that transports you back to rolling hills and misty moors, with heavenly voices, tantalising harmonies, dazzling costumes and whirlwind fiddle playing.

Stunning visual effects, costumes and choreography combined with the richness of celtic instruments provides an unforgettable performance full of warmth, memories and exhilaration with the audience crying out for more as they dance the night away!

From January 1st 2027 - Ticket Price $240.00 + booking fees.

  • To ensure table groups are seated together, it’s preferable for one person to book a table for everyone in their group in the one transaction.

    A ‘table of 10’ option is available when booking..

  • Bookings of less than 10 & single ticket purchases are welcome.

  • Dietary Requirements are catered for. Complete the dietary requirements section during the booking process.

  • Disabled entrance: accessible via the ground floor hotel driveway and Collins Place entry, featuring ramps & lift access directly to the 1st Floor.

  • NB: Sofitel Melbourne's room plan may mean the table number on your ticket will be different to the table number allocated.  Please check the seating plan noticeboard on arrival at the venue.
