About this special concert

This is a special concert being held as part of the Melbourne Tartan Festival. The performance will take place at Habitat Uniting Church in Canterbury.

Join us for a fun Saturday afternoon concert celebrating Scotland's musical heritage, followed by the Club's famous afternoon tea! We are delighted to partner with the Melbourne Tartan Festival and Habitat Uniting Church and look forward to sharing music, friendship and community with audiences old and new.

About the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club

The Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club returns to the Melbourne Tartan Festival with an uplifting celebration of Scottish music, community and culture.
With members of all abilities, all ages from 8 to 80-something, and all stages of playing, the Club is a welcoming and dynamic community music group. Although membership exceeds 100, we don’t all fit on stage! You can expect 30–40 performers sharing the infectious energy and rich musical traditions that have taken them to festivals including the National Folk Festival, National Celtic Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival and, of course, the Melbourne Tartan Festival!
