Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, running club member, someone who likes to keep fit, a family or group of friends who enjoy a run, jog, walk or roll in the healthy outdoors, we invite you to register for the Big Melbourne Kilt Run on the Tan in support of the Heart Foundation. Kings Domain Gardens precinct is the perfect venue for a Sunday morning on The Tan while you raise heart health awareness and fundraise in support of the Heart Foundation.

The event is open to those of all fitness levels. Enter solo or gather a group of your family, friends, work colleagues, club, Clan or Pipe Band members and enter a team. When you check in on Kilt Run day you’ll receive a race bib with an embedded timing chip to track your time. First 3 across the line in each category will receive a Kilt Runner medal and a Certificate will be available to download from the Tomato Timing website, our official Kilt Run timers. Children’s participation certificates and small prizes will also be available.

When you register you’ll receive an email via Trybooking with a link to the Heart Foundation fundraising website, where you’ll be able to set up your own fundraising page to share with family & friends so they can sponsor your participation in the Kilt Run.

We’ve taken on a challenge to Do it for Heart!

We’re proudly supporting the Heart Foundation with the Big Melbourne Kilt Run on the Tan.

Heart disease in Australia claims 79 lives every day. That’s a sobering statistic. When you take up the ‘Kilt Runners’ challenge and raise funds for the Heart Foundation, your fundraising will go towards life-changing heart research, support health professionals working to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease, and provide heart-healthy programs and resources for everyday Australians. You can make a difference!
